HERE'S WHAT'S HAPPENING AT TRINITY FAITH CHURCH!
THE POTATO DISTRIBUTION HAS BEEN CANCELLED!
Unfortunately, due to issues beyond our control, the potato distribution that Convoy of Hope/Rural Compassion made available to us has been cancelled! After trying to reschedule on four different occasions, issues with the trucking company just made it unfeasible for us to try to accom-modate their demands. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, but are so grateful to Convoy of Hope/Rural Compassion for thier partnership in giving more than $84,000 worth of fruit and vegetables to those of our Community! Our thanks to Pastor Kevin Alexander of New Beginnings Church here in Liberal for partnering with us in this effort!
Single Parent Care Day is rapidly approaching! Brenda and our other ladies have already begun to prepare for what has become our largest Outreach of the year! The date for this year's event is August 1, and we are significantly changing things from past years, largely because of Covid-19. Most of the changes have to do with the items that we are blessing the parents/children with, and these are items that we need to be donated for this year's event:
*Paper Towels *Dish Soap
*Paper Plates *Laundry Detergent
*Trash Bags *Fabric Softener Sheets
*Ziplock Bags *Stain Remover
*Hand Sanitizer *Toilet Paper
Of course, we will also be needing CASH DONATIONS! Although we will still be providing backpacks for all the school children, donated by Rural Compassion/Convoy of Hope, instead of asking for donated supplies to fill the backpacks, we will be providing $10 Walmart Gift Cards for the parents to purchase their supplies for their children! Any amount of Cash Donation will be deeply appreciated! The other significant change is bringing the ladies from New Beginnings Church here in Liberal into partnership with for this great event! This will allow for more people to be blessed with this ministry, and more donations to bless them with! This is a part of a new strategy of partnering with area Churches to represent the Kingdom of God in the way that it should be represent-ed! Bible-believing, Bible-preaching churches joining together to reach our communities with the Good News of Jesus! Stay tuned for more information, Work-Day dates, and more updates right here on our Website!
WATER BAPTISM SERVICE, SUNDAY, JULY 5!! CONTACT PASTOR TERRY IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS MOST IMPORTANT ACT IN FOLLOWING OUR LORD'S EXAMPLE! This is our first Sunday of some semblance of "normal" since mid-March! We will be having donuts and pastries available in the Gathering Grounds Coffee Shop, and we will be having Sunday School and Children's Church this Sunday. We will, however, continue to practice to the very best of our abilities the Social Distancing guidelines that have been in place! Please, please be respectful of those who choose to wear masks; those who prefer not to be engaged in any type of "touching" as a greeting; and those who desire to maintain 6 ft. of distance from others. Also respect those who do NOT have a problem with these guidelines, as well. Due to the reported increase in Covid-19 cases over the past week, we have made the decision to CANCEL THE SCHEDULED CHURCH PICNIC FOR JULY 12! We still have our Annual Church Picnic on the calendar for September, and hopefully, we will be on the other side of the Pandemic by that time.
NO SUNDAY PRAYER THIS SUNDAY EVENING DUE TO THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND!!
